my new home addition.

/01. SUNDAYS FIELD STOOL

It makes me so happy to see my tiny Brooklyn home constantly changing and evolving.

About two and half months ago I went to an event hosted by the Canada based furniture brand Sundays. What’s different about this event was that they displayed all the furniture places in an actual home in Chelsea. Not only did I fall in love with all the modern and functional pieces, I was madly obsessed with that apartment as well. It’s almost like they complimented each other and brought each other to life.

A month later they sent me this stool as a gift - their best selling stool that comes in three different colors and heights. It makes so much sense in my space because the wood matches with my floor and I’ve always been a big wood girl. And it offers a home to my Noguchi lamp, who for the longest time has been sitting at corner and neglected.

/02. BOY SMELLS CANDLES

The first time that I encountered this candle of my life - of course I didn’t know then - was during a weekend getaway in Hudson. I walked into that home decor store and the first thing I noticed was how amazing the entire space smelled. When the owner told me that they only had one of the candle left, I immediately brought it home.

And it has been my favorite candle ever since. It’s fresh, homey, and sweet. It’s everything I want my home to smell like.

On my birthday my dear friend Monica gifted me another one in the scent LES. Now I’m determined to try out every single scent Boy Smells has to offer.

/03. HUMDAKIN HOME GOODS

Humdakin is a Danish brand inspired by the Scandinavian nature. They kindly sent some of their amazing and sustainable and allergy-friendly cleaning products for me to try, from dish soap to candle, from bath cleaning to hand wash.

I was blown away by how effective their products are - my kitchen sink had never been so shiny and it only took a couple swipes to remove all the grease and dirt. And most importantly, it smells amazing, in a way that’s natural and subtle.
